Video: Students of Oyugi Ogango Girls Break into Tears after Learning of their Principal’s Death

A video of the Form Four students at Oyugi Ogango Girls High School in Migori County mourning their departed Principal has broken many hearts on the internet.

The video, whose original camera person has not been named, was shared on forums on Tuesday morning, a day after Madam Martha Ouma reportedly succumbed to Covid-19.

In the video, the young girls, dressed in royal blue skirts and wind-breakers and white blouses apparently attending a briefing at the school’s assembly hall, are seen breaking down on their chairs as their teachers look on in desperation.

The 45-second footage has generated a lot of emotions across social media platforms with users sympathizing with the young learners.

Migori County has been one of the regions that has been hit hard by the covid-19 pandemic with at least two other senior tutors succumbing to the virus, according to local reports.

Kuppet is saddened again and again to learn of the sudden demise of Principal Mathar Ouma, who until her death, was the *Senior Principal* Oyugi Ogango Girls in Rongo Subcounty.
