A former aspirant for Member of County Assembly (MCA) seat has put up one of his testicles for sale.
Mr. Ian-Harriel Kowiti, who hails from Uriri Constituency in Migori County, says he’s tired of languishing in poverty, and has opted to sell one of his testicle.
The former independent candidate during the 2017 general election is also selling his kidneys at Sh1.5 million for ‘a local client’ and Sh4.5 million for a foreign client.
In an interview with The Nairobian, Kowiti said he does not need to possess the two seeds between his leg when he can still survive with o,” he said.
“There’s no need of having two of them (testicles) when I can still use one
“Imagine that there is someone out there who can’t have a child for one reason or another. I just want to share what I have, for a little profit of course! I’m tired of being broke, yet I don’t need two testicles!” Kowiti said.
However, the young man, now jobless, reiterated that money was not his prime reason to sell his organs including the kidney.
“I’m selling the kidney because I want to help other patients out there,” said he.
But speaking to the same publication, urologist Dr David Kimani said it is not possible to transplant testicles.
“It is impossible. I am only aware of penile transplant, but I have never heard of a procedure to transplant testicles,” he said.
