Hundreds of well wishers in Bungoma have lined up for a charity visit to Kanduyi Children’s home for th annual festive get-together with the less fortunate children tomorrow 27th December, 2018.
Dubbed the Smile Karavan in solidarity with the orphanage kids, the yearly charity visit aims at sharing the festive love with the less fortunate children in the society.
The end-year program was founded six years ago by Mr Kruss Mabonga, the C.E.O of branding company Status Communication.
Since then, the initiative has attracted dozens of co-operate societies, celebrities and well-wishers who donate various goods to the children including clothes, books, vouchers and sports equipments.

In their efforts to raise funds to support the initiative, the organizing team which includes the youthful Mariam Mohammed, Daisy Nekesa, Cially Wanza and Edwine Kenya have printed T-shirts that are retailing at Ksh1,000.
“Supporters, some of them not necessarily in Bungoma, have been ordering T-shirts in good numbers just to stand with the children. The money we raise from the T-shirts goes to the children,” Ms Wanza told Wakajuanes.Com in an exclusive interview on phone.
