Ready for Ribs, Tears and Cheers? Mani Africa Ltd to Launch Kings & Queens Comedy Live in Bungoma This Friday

Though the show premieres this Friday, Kings and Queens Comedy Live will be staging every first Friday of every month.

MANI AFRICA LIMITED will this Friday 14, July 2017 launch the highly anticipated comedy show at The Tourist Hotel Bungoma.

The colourful event dubbed Kings & Queens Comedy Live will start at 7pm and end at 11pm.

It will be the first time for Bungoma to stage a live comedy show.

The show will be hosted by Tumbili of KBC’s commedy Arena.

According to the event promoter and Mani Africa Director Emannuel Kapanga, the Friday’s show will also feature high profile personalities in the theatre and film industry among them the Bungoma-born Cyrus Viraka, stage and film director Kennedy Opatta and Nigerian comedian Emeka.

Performing live will be Western Talent Search Tour winner Basil Vishindoh of the Lipala hit song, Storm, Ronnie Peters among others.

Music will be mixed by DJ Fixx of Shenanigans Sports Bar Bungoma.

Mani Africa is a high profile event organizing, branding and film production company based in Nairobi with a sub-branch to be established in Bungoma town. It is the parent organizer and promoter of KINGS AND QUEENS COMEDY LIVE.

Speaking to Wakajuaness.Com, Mr Kapanga cited Western Kenya as being a hub of talent, therefore a need to spread roots across the region covering Transnzoia, Kakamega, Vihiga, Busia, Eldoret and Kisumu with the event head quarters at Bungoma county.

The aim of Mani Africa, Kapanga says, is to to nature talent in performing arts, stand-up comedy, poetry, music etc, by giving them a platform to showcase their prowess.

“Doing so will empower the youths economically,” says the former Mother-In-Law actor.

He also mentioned the need for co-operate societies to step in and support the industry in Bungoma.

“We have massive talent that is being wasted. It will be a major boost if the co-operate world steps in to support this industry to a desired level,” said he.

Though the show premieres this Friday, Kings and Queens Comedy Live will be staging every first Friday of every month and will feature both local and mainstream comedians, musicians and renowned public figures.

Tickets are going at 300 (advance), 500/- at the gates, 1,000 for VIP and Sh1,500 for VVIP and can be acquired at the Tourist Hotel Bungoma opposite Nakumatt Super Market.
