The body of Mama Selina Wangamati, Mother to Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati on Friday left LifeCare Hospital morgue in Bungoma ahead of tomorrow’s burial ceremony.
The cortege left the private facility around noon for prayers and public viewing at the KMTC grounds Bungoma before heading to her home in Kanduyi.Mama Selina will be laid to rest tomorrow, February Saturday 27th 2021.
The burial function will take place at the Bungoma Airstrip.
Thousands of mourners including President Uhuru Kenyatta, Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula, Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi as well as the Bungoma Gunernatorial female aspirant Dr. Sophy Nekoye, have paid endless tributes to the late who was a pioneer nutrition nurse in Bungoma County.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to attend the funeral.
