Kapseret Member of Parliament (MP) Oscar Sudi has stated that he is not going to issue an apology after his controversial remarks aimed at President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking during a press statement on Wednesday, Sudi responded to to the back clash seen from a section of leaders and members of the public by saying he did not see any need to apologise as he had only spoken the truth which is even in the bible, and he had not incited anyone.
“I was very surprised to see so many people agitated that I referred to women’s breasts, it is even in the bible, that was not an insult, I will apologise once people show me where I went wrong,” he said.
He further hit on former Prime Minister and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga, whom he accused of double standards after he criticised his remarks when he had not done so before with Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and Homabay County Woman MP Gladys Wanga’s abuses to the president.
In the controversial video, Sudi launched some scathing attack on the Kenyatta family, after arrest of Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Nge’no who is currently facing hate speech charges. Nge’no had also hit at the Kenyatta family, stating that they were using state machineries for their family progress, after which he was arrested.
