Suba Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed has been released on cash bail.
The outspoken legislator had earlier today been arrested for allegedly uttering inciting comments during a political rally in Homa Bay town.
Homa Bay police immediately took him to court after the arrest. However, the Court released him on Ksh100,000 cash bail.

The authorities did not, however, release the actual comments the MP made.
This comes amid serious warning from the Chair of National Cohesion and Integral Commission, Mr Francis ole Kaparo, against hate mongers as the country heads to the August general elections.
Junet Mohamed is not new to controversy, last year he was among eight legislators who were arrested and detained for four days over hate speech.
