The list of the final five tipped to replace Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)’s Commissioner-General John Njiraini has no female candidate.
Out of the total 30 applicants who had applied for the KRA Commissioner General post, only two were female.
However, the final list does not have any female candidate.
The five include Julius Waita Mwatu, current KRA Intelligence and Strategic Operations Commissioner James Mburu, Richard Buru Ndung’u, Regional Advisor at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Andrew Kazora Okello and Duncan Otieno Onduru.
According to a notice in the dailies seen by Wakajuanes.Com, the five were arrived at after intense scrutiny from the board.
“The applications were scrutinized for conformity with the requirements published in media advertisements following which the KRA Board approved 5 candidates for attendance of final interviews,” read the notice.
