Nzoia Sugar FC tactician Nicholas Muyoti has expressed his confidence ahead of their clash against Kariobangi Sharks at Sudi Stadium today from 2PM.
Speaking to this writer, Muyoti was confident the preparations the team has made prior to this match would see them bag three points.
“The team is okay and we have prepared well for this match which will be at home and we hope to collect maximum points,” said Muyoti.
Nzoia will head into this match missing the services of Collins Wakhungu who was red-carded during the last match against Mathare FC as well as Stephen Etyang’ who is out with an injury.
Muyoti also acknowledged the importance of playing at home and urged his team to build on that.
“We know that they (Kariobangi Sharks) were on continental duty over the weekend and they will again travel to play against us. Naturally, it will be a tiresome journey for them and we hope to capitalize on that as we rested over the weekend.”
The sugar millers will seek to record their first win against Kariobangi Sharks whom they haven’t beaten in their last 4 meetings in the Kenya Premier League fixtures. However, it is a history Muyoti is not worried about.
“Everything is possible in this match including a win and the previous encounters won’t factor because those matches had a different coach with a different approach to mine.” Asserted Muyoti.
The tactician also urged fans to turn up in numbers and support the team.
The match will kickoff at 2PM with tickets going at a paltry 50/= for regular and 200/= for VIP.
