Morata’s First Hat-Trick Sinks Stoke as United, City, Record Wins

Alvaro Morata Scored his First Hat trick in the English Premier League as Chelsea thrashed Stoke City 4-0 to move third on the log.

Morata’s first goal came in the second minute after a lovely pass from Fellow Spaniard Cesar Azpilicueta.

Pedro Rodriguez scored the second goal in the 30th minute after a defensive error.

Morata doubled his score with a fine run from Tiemou Bakayoko’s pass to score a wonderful volley past Jack Jutland in the 78th minute.

He Completed his hatrick in the 82nd minute after another lovely assist from Azpilicueta.

The win retained Chelsea in the third position with 13pts, 3 points behind Manchester United who won 1-0 against Southampton courtesy of Romelu Lukaku.

At Ethihad Stadium, Manchester City thrashed Crystal Palace 5-0 with a brace from Raheem sterling and other goals from Sane, Aguero and Delph. 

Tottenham beat Westham 3-2 with a brace from Harry Kane in an early kick-off.

The results mean Man City tops the log on goal difference over Manchester United but both with 16 points .
