Al shabaab militants are plotting to hit Kenya during the Census process, a high voltage intelligence gathering leaked to this site has revealed.
According to a reliable inner officer in the Kenyan intelligent service privy to the unfoldings, the Somalian militants are already plotting to intensify their operations in areas known as Hulugho and Sangailu in Garissa County between August 15th, 2019 to early September 2019 in a bid to disrupt the National census scheduled for 24th and 25th the same month.The location of Sanagulu in Garissa on Google Maps. Part of the evil plot by the militants include kidnapping of government officials involved in the exercise as well as target security personnel by planting improvised explosive devices- IEDs in in parts of North-Eastern Kenya.
Currently, the militants are operating from a make shift camp within Qaya forest.
On August 8th 2019, about 20 militants we dispatched to target quarry workers in Arabia and Rhamu in Mandera County. The main quarries are Qalalio, Rhamu, Qalanqalesa and Koromey.
Kenya has been at war with the Al Shabaab militants since 2011 and the country’s security operations have foiled dozens of attacks.
In January this year, gallant Kenyan security forces neutralised five suspected terrorists who had attacked Dusit2 Hotel in Nairobi.
Kenya will be conducting its census in a week’s time for the first time since 2009.
