As NASA leader Raila Odinga was being sworn-in as the People’s President, one important person was missing. That man is Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka (pictured, file).
The Wiper Party leader was supposed to take an oath alongside his presidential candidate in the 2017 elections but as nicknamed the ‘Water Melon’, the former Vice President was missing in action.
Kenyans flocked to Twitter to channel their reactions following the drama.

Serious jokers. They didn't even come to Raila's swearing in. Wetangula, Mudavadi and Kalonzo left Raila to come alone to his own swearing in. Jokers. Too disorganized. Too chaotic. Just embarrassing for those who had to travel miles to attend. Disappointment #NASAOathDay

The volcano that is building up beneath our nation is beyond Raila or Kalonzo; even without them, it will still erupt. It's a volcano powered by the anger and frustrations of 95% of population who feel that the Kenyan dream has not worked for them.#NASASwearingIn#NASAOathDay

Kalonzo is still in NASA; a wiper swings from side to side, but it never leaves the windscreen.

Kalonzo played a safe game. In knew that if he takes the Oath he wont be allowed to vie in 2022 in the name of Criminal records.
