Chelsea was the only team in Europe to experience a transfer ban at the beginning of season 2019/20, which forced newly appointed manager Frank Lampard to depend on academy graduates.

The fans were disappointed with grown frustrations after the club failed to sign new players in January even after appealing their ban.

Despite that, the blues have now hit back with a bang after they completed the signing of Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech an amount of £ 40M, letting him join the blues in the summer 2020.

RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner joining  Chelsea is an almost done deal for a release clause £ 53 M. The young fresh talent was linked up to Klopp’s troop at Anfield but Lampard hijacked the deal after mere strive via telephone communication.

The two new arrivals are expected to lead the blues toward winning major trophies next season. Scoring 23 goals so far, Werner has been a threat to German teams, he was among the leaders on the score sheet in Bundesliga.

On the other hand of Morrocan’s international Hakim Zayech was very productive in his club, taking Ajax to UEFA Champions League semi-final in season 2018/19 where they lost to Tottenham.

Chelsea look set to have an exciting squad for the 2020/21 season with the heroics of new arrivals. It might be a hard time for Chelsea’s boss to come up with a regular lineup as all players have been productive and show attractive games.

How Could Chelsea Line Up Next Season?

Even after minor mistakes done by Chelsea goalkeeper, he is expected to have a future at Stamford Bridge. The Spanish Kepa Azzibarlaga had a decent first season showing signs of promise, hence he will be on the list of regular starters.

The defense line remains solid with the presence of Reece James and Captain Azpilicueta on the right-back, while Alonso, Fikayo Tomori, and Emerson on left-back respectively.

On the central defense, the partnership of Antonio Rudiger, Andrea Christensen and Kourt Zouma has presented a different and better duo. Thus, it’s with no doubt either of the two will lead at the back.

At the base of the midfield, Kante will be joined by Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho, the partnership which has proved impressive. Loftus Cheek, Ross Barkley, Mason Mount can also come in from the bench.

With Pedro and Willian expected to depart, both Pulisic and Ziyech have pace and finishing on the sides and are likely to cause a threat with counter-attacks.

Timo Werner can perform as a natural striker with Abraham on the bench, though Werner can shift to left-wing with the responsibility of scoring which might be a guaranteed starter once he becomes accustomed.

Here is my Chelsea’s probable starting eleven.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Kepa

Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Christensen, James

Jorginho, Kante

Kovacic, Pulisic, Zayech

Werner
