Manchester United fans have shown excitement, with many wondering how Ole Gunnar will line up Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes, after the resumption of EPL on June 17, 2020.

The English Premier League (EPL) will take center stage today for the Matchweek 30 fixtures, where Fifth-placed Manchester United will be traveling to White Hart Lane to face their former manager Jose Mourinho against Tottenham, while Norwich will play against Southampton in bid to fight relegation.

The Red Devils, who are enjoying a good form having not lost any of their last eleven fixtures prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, will seek to better their form, boosted by the return of midfield maestro Paul Pogba and striker Marcus Rashford.

On the other side, Mourinho’s side Tottenham had experienced an awful form, recording no win in their last five fixtures prior to this match.

Manchester United will also be seeking to record impressive performances if they are to be assured of a Champions League spot next year, by finishing ahead of fourth-placed Chelsea or Leicester who are number three.

According to Manases Barasa, a die-hard Manchester United fan, the return of Paul Pogba is important because he will form a bolstering playing style with February Player of the Month, Bruno Fernandes.

“The return of Pogba is good news. We saw how Fernandes drove the midfield with Pogba injured, and when the two return together, we will be on fire!” he said, adding that as a fan, he expects United to qualify for the Champions League.

” We have two options of qualifying for the Champions League: Either we finish ahead of Chelsea or win the Europa League,” said an adamant Manasseh.

He also stated that Tottenham will not pose a big threat, as Delle Ali, who is suspended, would have been the biggest threat.

“If you look at Tottenham, Delle Ali could have been our biggest threat. Son Min Heung is the player to watch and although Harry Kane is a good striker, he is used to scoring against Arsenal and not us” he said.

On his part, Bungoma businessman Dan Macheso, who promised a Chelsea a flight if they finish ahead of United, opines that a number of factors will determine how Ole Gunnar will form his starting lineup.

For instance, he opines that Ole Gunnar will go for a defensive formation with counter-attacks, a trick United have used to defeat the other top teams including Chelsea and Manchester City.

“United will play a 3-4-1-2 with Pogba and Fernandes playing positions 8 and 10 respectively. Williams might also start because he is good playing as an attacking and defensive midfielder, while between Matic and Fred, one will be forced to come in as a substitute,” Macheso said.

Macheso is, however, wary of Jose Mourinho, who he terms as ” the best tactical coach” who always has a case of proof against former employers.

“Mourinho is not good playing against, he has a case to prove against former employers. He the best tactical coach, he revealed.

Macheso is also confident United will bag in one achievement by the end of the season, which could be winning the Europa League, the FA Cup or finishing among the top four teams.
