Free Medical Checkup for Expectant Mothers, Women With Gynaecological Complications at LifeCare Hospital Bungoma

A free medical check-up for expectant mothers and women with gynaecological complications is set to take place at LifeCare Hospital Bungoma on 24th October this Friday.

The exercise, organised by LifeCrare Hospitals Bungoma, seeks to provide free consultation with a resident gynaecologist as well as free Random Blood Sugar (RBS).

According to the hospital management, the highly anticipated exercise will also provide free body mass index (MBI) to assess the mothers and offer professional guidance ahead of delivery.

The exercise is for both expectant mothers and all mothers with gynaecological complications like fibroids, ovarian cyst, Fertility issues and many others.

The camp, which will kick off from 8am to 4pm on Saturday, will be an addition to hundreds of free medical camps that LifeCare Hospital has been offering since last year.

The event will be conducted by specialised gynaecologists and obstetrician at LifeCare with the aim of achieving Zero Maternal deaths in line wit the Government’s Big Four Agenda.

It will be the first time such an event to take place in Bungoma where majority of expectant mothers have to struggle with consultation fee at several health facilities.

However, due to unavoidable circumstances, patients who will require gyancological scans and surgeries shall be charged at an affordable fee, but the good news is that the hospital accepts major insurance scheme payments.
