A drama has emerged in Mufungu village, Lwandanyi ward in Sirisia constituency after it emerged that MPs allied to Deputy President William Ruto attended the burial of a ‘wrong body’.

This is after a family from Nakalira village, Kamukuywa ward in Kimilili constituency, Bungoma County was shocked to find that the body of their kin, the late Grace Wekesa, was missing at a mortuary.

However, when the deceased family went to collect her body on Monday August 26, they were shocked to be presented with a different body, Newsflash.co.ke reports.
After a long search, it emerged that there was an indentification error and the body was wrongly transfered to Lugulu Funeral Home and later buried in Sirisia constituency on Friday 23.

Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka led other leaders from Ruto’s camp in attending the burial among them the hosting Sirisia Mp John Waluke, with neither of the mourners having a clue that they were burrying a wrong body’, writes Aris Wanyonyi on Newsfash.

The other family who have now realised that they kin had been buried in Mufungu village are in the process of getting a court order to exhume the body and offer it a descent burial.
The family now want the mortuary attendants to take responsibility and foot all the accumulated bills.
