It’s now officially confirmed that Kenya’s sensational comedian MCA Tricky will be performing for the first time in Bungoma town.

The 1993-born fast-rising star will be the guest performer at the Cheka Festival organized by Mani Africa Limited on December 29th,  2018.

Confirming the news to Wakajuanes.Com, the decorated entertainment company’s C.E.O Mr Emmanuel Kapanga said this would be a great opportunity for the lovers of stand-up comedy in Bungoma to finally have a glimpse at the highly-rated comedian.

“At Mani Africa Limited, we always yearn to give the best to our fans and this is just but part of our commitment to fulfil our promises to our fans.” Mr Kapanga said in a telephone interview with this writer.

It’s not the first time a high profile comedian will be performing in Bungoma. On 23rd December last year, the same company brought another comedy icon Eric Omondi at sold-out Tourist Hotel in Bungoma.

MCA Tricky, whose real name is Paul Kimani Njoroge was raised at the coast and attended Ikungu Primary School in Makindu, Mombasa before joining the crucial street life in Nairobi, a life that inspired his brand name that means Member of Chokora Assembly.

He joined comedy in February 2016 during auditions at Churchill Show. Since then, Tricky’s profile has been rising every day.

He will perform alongside other Churchill Show stars Jasper Murume known for his Meru accent, Smart Joker among other rising local artists including Eshironje from Webuye.

The show will be hosted by KTN’s Chero of Saturday’s Str8up Show and comedian 2Mbili.
