Bungoma Mourns Film Actress Justine Nyukuri Knocked Down by Vehicle at Night

Fans of Engo Episodes films are mourning the tragic death of actress Justine Nyukuri who was reportedly knocked down by a vehicle on Wednesday night.

The 32 year old actress who has featured in dozens of vernacular movies by Engo Episodes as “Mercy” reportedly The 32 year old actress who has featured in dozens of vernacular movies by Engo Episodes as “Mercy”met her death when an unidentified vehicle knocked her down at Ndengelwa along Webuye-Malaba highway.

According to E.E founder and comedian Tiny Mutali aka Choffuri Official, the actress was crossing the highway back to her elder sister’s adjacent home when a vehicle believed to belong to the North Rift SACCO, allegedly knocked her down at around 10.00 PM on Wednesday 5th February, 2020.

However, the timing of the accident means there were no people rush her to a nearby health facility.

“At such a time, there are normally no people using the road so apparently she succumbed to head injures. We lost her,” said an emotional Choffuri in a telephone interview with Wakajuaness.

Her death comes barely a year after the actress broke her leg following a minor accident.

Her body is being preserved at Lifecare Hospital Mortuary in Bungoma town.

The Webuye-Malaba highway has proved to be a death-trap with dozens of accidents claiming scores of lives in the last four months.

Last year, a trailer knocked down two brothers who were riding on a motorbike, killing them instantly.
