A family from Kabuchai village, Kabuchai Constituency, Bungoma County, is urgently appealing for a serious financial support for their daughter following a medical operation that requires Ksh7 million in India.
Ms Edith Nekesa Mattere, 23, was diagnosed with aplastic anaemia, a medical condition where spongy stuff inside one’s bones known as marrow stops making new blood cells, according to http://www.webmd.com, an online publication specialized in health matters.
Edith is a first year student at Eregi Teachers’ Training College and her preliminary stay at Mediheal Hospital in Eldoret has already cost the family Ksh1 million.
According to his uncle Mr Emannuel Kisinag’ani, the family will be holding a mini-fund raiser on 13th of this October 2018 at their home in Kabuchai, next to Kabuchai Health Centre and the main fund raiser on 27th this October.
Edith’s father Mr Paul Matere has pleaded with well wishers to support the family in saving her life.
“It’s unfortunate that we are stuck in this state. We are humbly urging well wishers to support us raise the required amount.
