Blow to Wetang’ula as Nderitu Gazzetes Notice for his Ford Kenya Removal

Embattled Ford Kenya Party Leader and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has been dealt a huge blow in his fight to regain Ford Kenya Party leadership.

This is after Registrar of Political Partied Ann Nderitu, formally gazetted his removal on Monday.

In a special gazette notice dated June 8, 2020, the RPP gave notice of Wetangula’s ouster, with his replacement being his close allied  Kanduyi Member of Parliament Wafula Wamunyinyi.

A further blow of the ousting was felt by Wetangula’s close friend Chris Mandu Mandu, who according to the gazette notice, has been replaced by Josephine Waungu as the party’s National Organizing Secretary.

“Any person with written submissions concerning the intended change by the political party shall within 7 days from the date herein deposit them with the Registrar of Political Parties,” read the notice.
