The Ambassador of Kenya to DRC Dr. George Sirengo Masafu has sent a message of condolence to the family of Mzee Dominico Wetang’ula following the passing on of Mama Faustina Wetang’ula; one of the Matriachs of Mzee Dominico Wetang’ula family.
Ambassador Masafu described Mama Faustina as an illustrious woman who established her family on a strong Christian foundation.
He describe her as an industrious, respectable, strict disciplinarian and loving mother who was constantly concerned about the welfare of her family and community at large.
The Ambassador prayed to God to offer the family courage and fortitude to bear the unfortunate loss.
Mama Faustina’s death comes in less than a year after the death of her son Anthony Waswa, who was the PA to Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi.
The late Mama Faustina was a step mother to Senator Wetang’ula and Mr. Wanyonyi.

Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka, Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati and several leaders have also sent their messages of condolence to the family, friends and relatives.
