Amb Dr. Masafu Pushes for Collaborative Legislation to Promote Private Sector Investment in the DRC

The Ambassador of Kenya to DRC Dr. George Sirengo Masafu had the privilege to meet the diplomatic counsellor of the DRC parliament Madame Mwando Mammy to push for a collaborative legislation between the Kenyan and the DRC parliament to enhance private sector investment.

In their discussions, the two leaders discussed areas of collaboration between the two parliaments to deepen foreign policy especially in legislation to promote private sector investment.

Kenya’s key interests in economic diplomacy are food security, trade, peace and security. These are areas to explore further for more robust collaboration.

The Ambassador was invited to visit the DRC parliament soon to deepen the engagement and discuss the roadmap for future collaboration.

The Ambassador, who is also seeking the Bungoma Senatorial seat, is running under the slogan, The Safe Choice for Better Change and is counting on effective Leadership, Integrity, Honesty and Experience.
