All Set for Beauty Queen’s Charity Donation of School Uniforms to Physically Challenged Children at Nalondo CBM on Friday

The reigning Miss Tourism Bungoma will this Friday donate free school uniforms to children living with physical challenges at Nalondo CBM in Bungoma County .

Ms Joyce Nasambu, through her Joyce Nasambu Foundation, will lead the campaign at Nalondo CBM Primary School this Friday September 13, 2019.

Dubbed #NoDisInMyAbility, the campaign seeks to motivate the young children living with physical challenges to embrace education.

“We indent to give uniforms to all children living with disabilities in Bungoma County,” Ms Nasambu told Wakajuaness in our previous interview.

“We want to motivate all children living with disabilities to be in school and discover their full potential in life,” added the 23-year old who is also the reigning Miss Tourism Kenya People’s choice.

According to beauty queen, the event will start with a street march from Bungoma town CBD at 8.30AM for three kilometres to Kanduyi where the participants will be picked by buses for transportation.

Nalondo CBM is located thirteen kilometres from the Kanduyi junction off Kanduyi-Bokoli road.

Ms Nasanbu has also called on well wishers to support her initiative by buying a T-shirt at Sh1,500. The T-shirts can be acquired through her phone number +254717242465/.

Joyce, who turned 23 in May this year started her modeling journey back in 2015 as a fresher at Chuka University

It will be the second time the popular model would be returning to Nalondo CBM after doing so two years ago while still holding the Miss Environment Bungoma crown.

The event will also be supported by Kibabii University, the Bungoma Special groups for PLWD among others.

Bungoma County Deputy Governor Prof Charles Ngome is also expected to be in attendance.
